What have I learned this year?
This year has flew by in a second. It has been such a great year with all of the new things that has been shown to me. I have learned many new things and skills this year that made me successful this school year and made me the person that I am today.
One thing or skill that I learned this year in Global Tech 21 was to not to take classes that you know you can not fit into your schedule. At the beginning of the year, Global Tech had an unusual schedule. There was my first hour as an elective and then the rest of the hours as my GT classes like the major core classes. But in all through middle school I was taking Orchestra, an elective, making it my first hour in highschool and my only elective all year. I did not want or like that. But in the second try, the schedule switched to six classes in the day and making first and second hour electives and the rest core classes. But I had German 1B third hour so I had to take traditional History 1B second hour making everything looking good but the work was over the top. So thats one thing I learned this year in GT21.
Another thing I learned this year were all of the technology programs in Global Tech. Some of the programs were like Microsoft softwares and also other websites. Some websites that I have been taught to use are Google Drive and Prezi. Google Drive is a Google program that can make documents exactly like Microsoft softwares (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) but it is online. Prezi is also such a creative a creative website. Prezi is made to create presentations in your own way and your own style. I was learned to use Prezi almost everyday and its such a great site.
The final thing/skill that I learned this year in Global Tech was that technology can do many things. Technology today is so high-tech that it makes my thinking incredible. Almost everything in the world is formed around technology. That’s exactly like Global Tech 21! It is centered on the 21st century learning and also project based. Making me use my laptop every second and every minute of the day. It should me that a person can do many things with just one small netbook and successfully finish 9th grade with a lot knowledge.
You know that you can leave things alone and just quite. But being in Global Tech 21 showed me that, that kind of thinking is not true. Making me leave the 9th grade with things that I wouldn’t have been taught nowhere else.
